Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club

Pre-Kindergarten Program ("Pre-K")

Our Pre K soccer program is an introduction to soccer for 4-5 year olds. A child may register for pre-K if they are at least 3 years, 9 months old at the beginning of the season (must be 3 years old on or before July 1, 2018, and not yet in Kindergarten). The co-ed program provides your child with one session per week, but we offer multiple day/time options throughout the week for your convience. You may choose one of the Saturday mornings (9AM, 10AM, or 11AM) or any midweek sessions at 9AM or 2PM.

Pre-K runs both in the Spring and Fall.

Pre K soccer is one of the most exciting ways for a child to experience soccer for the first time. The instruction includes movement and coordination skills with and without the soccer ball, with an emphasis on having fun. The sessions are made up of fun games to introduce a soccer ball, dribbling and kicking. Children will interact with each other and also have an opportunity to meet new friends and develop social skills during the season.

To sign up visit the Registration Tab or click the registration button below (if still open). If you would like to volunteer to help please contact the Club's Director of Coaching, Dan Sidebottom (

If you would like to learn more about the Pre-K program, please review the Pre K Information document. This has been designed to help the parent and volunteer coach gain a deeper understanding of the Pre K program. Check out some of the Sample Session Drills for an example of the type of games/drills we will be playing.
